Evaluation Comments for Watson / Wolfson

  1. I took this class with Watson and Goodsell. If your not a physics major, my advice: don't take this class. No matter how much you think it will be useful to you as a premed or other science major you will not need to know the crazy proofs we did in this class. This is class is like hazing for physics majors… except the physics majors in the end don't seem to care too much what grade they get anyways.
  2. This is not the ideal J-term slack-off course. While the course material is not mind bending, the problem sets (due every day) require 1-3 hours each. The course is taught very well by both Watson and Wolfson. Lectures are kept interesting by demonstrations and real life applications.
