Evaluation Comments for Spritzer M

  1. No Comment
  2. Mixed feelings on this class. The course contents were fascinating, one of the best I've experienced as a neuroscience major. Presentations and the final research paper gave a chance to explore topics of interest. Spritzer, though, tainted my view of course. I found him to be too strict, unforgiving of student needs, and sometimes downright condescending. Some people thought his little jokes were funny but I found Spritzer to be socially awkward to the point that it was painful to watch him interact with people. Expect lectures and exams to focus heavily on testosterone since it's Spritzer's research interest. Overall this course is worth it for the interesting material but not for its professor.
  3. Don't do it unless you have to! You are forced to attend class, but class is really nothing more than a powerpoint reading session.
  4. Mark is a good guy, but this class is really in depth with pathways and such. Would only recommend it to a Biology major that is really interested in learning the many pathways of hormones. An alright course
