  3. A lot of people in my class including myself took it for an easy A, but that's not what happened. Holly Allen was great, she's very smart, but I also think she's a pretty inconsistent grader. If you take this class, do the readings for the first few weeks and then pick one reading per week for the rest of the semester and you'll be fine-- just make sure you put a good amount of time into your papers (there are 2 of them during the semester and 2 in the take-home final).
