  1. bejar is wonderful, definitely try to take a class with him if you can
  2. While I really like Prof Bejar as a professor, this class was such a waste of time. There is WAY too much material to cover (Ideas and Cultures of L.America??) so it's kind of this mad rush to cover all of this really disconnected material. Prof Bejar was also pretty disorganized - I was never really sure what our homework was and he would always give us lots or random reading to do. You don't really get a chance to practice speaking, which considering this is a 300 level course is kind of frustrating. My advice - avoid this class if at all possible.
