Evaluation Comments for Lei Liang

  1. This class is required for music majors, and I'm glad I was forced to take it. I understand music now from a much broader perspective, and I have a lot more appreciation for the relationships between composer, performer and audience. Lei is great. Really. If you do the work and respond to Lei's comments, you'll get a good grade. But some weeks you'll spend more than 10 hours on one assignment, while other weeks you'll have very little homework. A great class, but make sure you plan for lots of time to get your compositions done.
