Evaluation Comments for Larrabee J

  1. It's hard to evaluate taking this class with Jim alone since this semester Sunhee team taught it with him aka it was only Sunhee running the show. In comparison to Choi the half of the semester with Jim was like a vacation. Labs, standards of evaluation, and the edits were much more succinct and clear. Really not a tough class with Jim, just make sure you pay attention to all the little details he wants in the write ups.

  4. i did not benefit much from this lab- we did almost no real chemistry, it was mostly about pressing buttons on different instruments. i got really frustrated with this professor because i don't think my report writing improved much, either- he gave very little feedback on reports, which sort of defeated the point of the course.
  5. This section of the course was an interesting introuction to laboratory techniques. Not much work was expected and once a certain format was followed, grading was very lenient.
