Evaluation Comments for Stimmel, J

  1. Joanna is pretty effective as a teacher, but also fairly boring and wooden, going through the textbook and all its exercises page-by-page. Rather uninspiring but I suppose if you love German enough it should be alright.
  2. Joanna is a great teacher! She's very balanced and solid - she's got a quality method that furthers listening, speaking, and grammar skills, and she stands by it. She truly cares about her students' success; she's always willing to offer individuals extra assistance and time, and she never makes them feel as though they are imposing. She gives fair grades but requires regular participation and hard work on a regular basis.
