  2. This was my second class with Carmola and almost everyone in this class has had her before. She's one of those professors you want to take over and over again. Some of the reading material was not my favorite, but she was great at teaching and more importantly, assisting conversation. The students in the class were grea tand Carmola helped us all connect so that we could discuss openly the material. DO THE READING!!!!! really, there is no point in even taking the class if you don't do the reading, you will learn nothing and she will not accept it. She's so underestanding and such a great teacher if you do the work and participate. You can definitely get a good great if you put the effort in. I really hope she gets Tenure, because she absolutely deserves it. TAKE THIS CLASS!
  3. One of the best classes I have ever taken at Middlebury. So cool that she incorporated Don DeLillo's Underworld into the class along with some amazing modern philosophy. Lots of discussion and a great class atmosphere.
