Evaluation Comments for cronise

  1. This class consists of response papers and powerpoint presentations which I think to be pretty good since this is a senior seminar. I was, however, a bit irritated that I spent $120 for a book that I never used. There were vague mentions of the book in class but our discussions revolved around articles that were assigned each week. I opened the book perhaps once and that was just to look up a word that I wasn't familiar with. Another thing that might irritate are lack of responses when communicating through e-mail. You have to personally hunt her down to get an appointment. But otherwise, Professor Cronise infuses her class with much humor and detailed and very organized descriptions. It's very obvious that she knows what she's talking about.
  2. This course definitely got me thinking--little scarey how vulnerable our nervous systems are! There was a lot of writing, but we were able to rewrite everything if we wanted--so its not about the grade so much as learning the material. Great course--cronise did a good job of making difficult concepts accessible to all students no matter what your major, enjoy!
