  1. Jim is a very interesting fellow. Sometimes I can find Jim frustrating but other times I think he's a genius. Really depends on the day. I think the most important part about taking classes with Jim is to do the work for personal reward not for him or for his grade. Often his instructions can be vague and you can get caught up trying to figure out what he wants but what he wants is for you to explore and discover on your own. So just do it for yourself (this philosophy can really apply to any class too). I really enjoyed this class and the freedom that comes with any of Jim's classes.
