Evaluation Comments for Losano, A.

  1. Reading Literature is a great class for reviewing all the basics of literary analysis and putting them into practice. If you already know them well you might be a little bored, but prof, Losano makes the class as fun as possible by encouraging class discussion and maintaining a constant positive and constructive attitude. Make sure you see her about your first paper; she has a particular style and can be a bit of a tough grader. Make sure your papers analyze the text closely and in depth and you'll be fine. She used a textbook to go over all the basics, and complemented it with poetry, short stories and some theater. If you have to take this course for your major, Losano is a good choice,
  2. Prof. Losano makes this boring class great. Fantastic in-class discussion, very open and not at all intimidating. I will say that Losano's preferred writing style is unique (if you write canned five-paragraph essays you will find yourself stuck in the B-range), so make sure you see her about the first paper.
