  1. Enough to persuade you to suffer another year of the hardest Indo-European language at Middlebury...
  2. Sveta is a wonderful lady. Her teaching methods are, well, Russian. It's certainly not bad. She drills the grammar and vocab like crazy, but it's not really intimidating. She says up fron that everyone will be making mistakes, and she makes you practice until you get it right. She also enjoys teaching the class songs. I'm telling you, we only had Svetlana for J-term, but we ALL still song those silly Russian songs. She's very warm and smiles all the time. While her class may be a bit more rigorous than Sergei's, you will learn a lot. Highly reccomended.
