  3. The class can be dull especially during the silent era. Grindon really loves the class though and you can definetly tell he's really into the movies. Alot of the movies are terrible, but without this class I would never have seen them. Grading is much more difficult than the "1945-today" film history class. I highly suggest meeting with Grindon to discuss analyzing scenes as he's always willing to help. In the end I learned alot and I am glad I took this course.
  4. Grindon is really enthusiastic, but the movies can be dull if you're not a big movie buff. Study heavily for the midterm. There is one 4-6 page and one 10 page paper, and like 5 small papers to write.
