  3. The material is very interesting and the professor is very good at explaining the subject matter, Professor Grindon is also a fair grader.
  4. One of the worse ways to get your "art" distribution requirement. This class was exteremly disappointing.
  5. boring
  6. I would really only take this if you are really interested in documentary films. Professor Grindon is a difficult grader as well.
  7. the material was fascinating and the class itself really opened my eyes to the world of the non-fiction films, but i have never sat through lectures as boring as this ever before in my middlebury career. prof grindon is available and accessible, but he is boring, monotone and a very difficult grader. i worked my butt of for this class and was constantly stressed about what results i would get. the discussions in class were never very exciting either. but once again, the material itself is great so if you can take this class with another professor i would highly recommend it!
